Ember FastBoot: hybrid client-side and server-side rendering

It sounds nice, being able to make the initial load of client-side rendered web apps as fast as server-side rendered ones, while still retaining all the advantages of client-side rendering.  However, in today’s world of serverless computing, I am unsure how to make the node.js component (the part that performs the initial server-side rendering) serverless.
